Tier 1 And Race

Tier 1 is a season, not a tutorial lap. The top RWF guilds blast ahead off-screen, but your guild is meant to live in this raid for most of the demo if you are playing normally.

Tier 1 ramps avoidable-damage pressure across the season. Early bosses are allowed to farm out. Late bosses are meant to keep MEC, Morale, Knowledge, and clean play relevant even after gear rises.

The first kill of each boss in a week drops exactly 3 items in 3 distinct slots. The listed raid-item ilvl is the boss's authored loot band plus the current +4 baseline; a rare piece can roll another +4.

Lucifraud's cold opener

At raw Knowledge 0, Lucifraud's effective AoE is 118 instead of the authored 79 baseline.

Learning curve

The extra pressure fades linearly and is fully gone by raw Knowledge 9. An ordinary roster learns through roughly three +3 Knowledge wipes.

Every completed run gives gold plus exactly one gear drop. There is also a rare-item chance on dungeon drops for a small ilvl spike.

Season goals and pressure

Cutting Edge

Kill the live tier's final boss before the 20-week season ends.

Hall of Fame

Estimated world rank 200 or better on that live-tier final kill.

Auto raid night

At rollover, the guild spends every unused scheduled pull against its current progression target.

Current demo scope

Only Tier 1 is player-facing. Future raid content is intentionally hidden in the current build.

This is why the race board matters even if you are never realistically beating the top ten. It reminds you that the season clock is real.

How to read the race board

The top RWF guilds are not your direct ladder opponents in the demo. They are the world-pressure layer. Your guild gets pinned far below them at its true funnel-derived world rank, which is why a first kill can still feel meaningful even if the top guilds cleared the place ages ago.

Unexpected Specs, Trixster's guild, sits in the late top-board pack. They are a real RWF force and a story shadow over your season, not an opponent your first-time guild is expected to catch during Tier 1.

  1. Do not compare yourself to rank 1 pacing. That is flavor pressure, not the target curve.
  2. Do compare yourself to the calendar. Your real enemy is the 20-week rollover.
  3. Use first kills as progress checkpoints. They move fame, rating, and race identity all at once.
